http://www.fodors.com/ City guides titled “25 Best”
http://www.letsgo.com/ College backpacker and budget traveler oriented guidebooks. Often has interesting commentary.
http://www.ricksteves.com/ Useful and concise Europe guidebooks. Has a travel store. I’ve used his luggage but now take a Travelpro spinner bag.
Luggage and clothing
http://www.eaglecreek.com/ I use the packing cubes. I can be unpacked or repacked at the hotel in minutes.
http://www.scottevest.com/ I use their convertible jacket/vests. I feel safer on the street with the hidden pockets and I get through security at the airport faster by leaving the small stuff in the jacket pockets.

http://www.kayak.com/ Useful flight planning site. I use Kayak for information and usually book directly with an airline.
http://www.seatguru.com/ Has seat maps for most airlines
http://www.seat61.com/ Information about train travel all over the world. It was useful for my trip to India and China.
http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/usa/index.shtml I’ve stayed at their Hotels in Morocco, Paris, Tokyo and Beijing.
http://www.hihostels.com/ I’ve stayed at YHA hostels in London, Paris, Munich and Sydney. A good way to meet interesting people.
